Our Foundry

Before castings can be made, pattern equipment must be designed and built. We use 3D solid modeling applications to design tooling and rigging. We are able to use flow and solidification software to predict problems with castings before tooling is built, avoiding the need to make costly changes to patterns. Our pattern shop sources can provide CNC patterns, mounted patterns and match plates, as well as iron core boxes.

We use state-of-the-art automated molding machines to produce consistent molds. Our core rooms produce shell, hot box and cold box cores. Every casting in every shipment is thoroughly inspected by our inspection department, for the highest level of quality.

Our priority is in meeting our customers' expectations:

  • Family-owned and operated since 1887.
  • Casting weights as small as one-half ounce to as large as 50 pounds.
  • Quality sand castings in various alloys of brass and bronze.
  • Experience with non-leaded alloys.
  • A 75,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
  • Six electric induction furnaces monitored by calibrated temperature controllers.
  • Modern automatic molding centers.
  • A computer-controlled closed-loop sand system.
  • Only ingot certified to the customers requirements is used for castings.
  • Patterns and tooling available through several local vendors.
